Perkins Lantern Date?

Does anyone know of any books or websites that would include information on this Perkins Masthead Lantern? It says "Perkins Marine Lamp Corporation" "Brooklyn New York" on the front. It is about 15" tall. I have looked extensively on the internet and have found reproductions but no originals. I am curious about the date. Thank you.
